My journey into travel began early in life. From the very first time I stepped outside the country, I became aware of how expansive, diverse, and layered the world truly is. Those early experiences shaped the way I saw people, places, and the power of cultural exchange.
Travel, for me, has never been about chasing picture-perfect moments or ticking countries off a list. While I enjoy beautiful sights and iconic landmarks, what draws me in most is the opportunity to learn—about belief systems, traditions, creative expression, and the social structures that influence everyday life. My approach to travel is rooted in intentional exploration, guided by a desire to connect meaningfully with people and understand their lived realities.
I’ve visited 11 countries so far—not the most, but each one has been deeply impactful. Whether strolling through the art-filled streets of Rio, soaking up live music in Johannesburg, or sharing mint tea in Marrakech, I immerse myself in the culture and honor the stories that make each place unique. I believe that the true beauty of travel lies in human connection, and that travelers miss something essential when they don’t engage with the people who give a destination its soul.
As a global tourism strategist, cultural storyteller, and creative, I use this platform to share lessons from the road—alongside practical tips, destination insights, and reflections on identity, empowerment, and inclusion. My work centers on elevating voices and places that are often overlooked, and helping others travel with more purpose, perspective, and presence.
St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) is a stunning Caribbean destination known for its picturesque beaches, pristine waters, lush rainforests, and laid-back culture. Comprising the main island of St. Vincent and a collection of smaller islands and cays, the country offers an idyllic blend of adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty. There are 32 islands total, nine of which are inhabited.

I’ve experienced racism in the Maldives, Morocco, Qatar, and the Dominican Republic, where my Black friends and I were denied entry into and then forcibly removed from a nightclub.
